Shelley’s interest in beauty began in 1995 with her travels around the world as a catwalk and photographic fashion model. Her initial creative awakening was inspired while working with the world’s leading makeup artists and high profile design houses – Comme De Garcon, Chanel, Calvin Klein, Yoji Yomamato and Missoni.

A progression from modelling to hair styling and makeup artistry followed naturally in 2003 when makeupbyshelley was created, specializing in bridal and advertising photographic hair and makeup. From there, Shelley established We Love Face Painting in 2006, her team continuing to service corporate events and parties around Melbourne with face painting and temporary tattoos.

Cosmetic Tattooing Melbourne was launched soon after this, with the addition of cosmetic tattooing and spray tanning. Shelley’s love of exploring unique trends and enhancing natural beauty manifests in a celebration of individuality! Our biggest reward is making a long-term difference in people’s lives, and witnessing our clients’ transformation both inside and out.
